Konami and Evil Empire Talk Dead Cells Return to Castlevania

In a new interview with IGN, Konami and Evil Empire talk about the origins of Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania while acknowledging the continued enthusiasm for the series. Three incredible action-adventure games from the Castlevania series have finally returned for the first time in ages with the new DLC. A producer at Konami acknowledges how much of a desire there is for a new Castlevania game after the recently released Dead Cells crossover DLC. Video game publisher Konami is reportedly planning to announce a new game in its long-running Castlevania series in just a few short months.

In addition to the new game, Konami will also be releasing a Castlevania collection for modern platforms. The collection will include Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, and Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles. The collection will be released on October 26, 2023, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
